On Sunday 19 September 2010 athletics club ACHIL’87 organises the 31th Beekse Marathon in Hilvarenbeek, the Netherlands.

1 km, 5 km, 10 km, ½ marathon, 30 km and the full marathon.
|

At the Vrijthof, in the centre of Hilvarenbeek. At 10.30 AM the start of the youth race, 1 km up to junior C runners, and at 11.00 AM the start of the 5, 10, 21, 30 km and marathon, finish for all distances exactly at the Vrijthof.
|

Please complete the registration form and send it to us by pressing the "Send" button. You have to register at last on Sunday 12 September 2010. Your registration is only valid when your payment is received on time!. If so, your race number wil be waiting for you on the 19st of September 2010 at the desk "voorinschrijvingen".

Our marathon is participating in the Ultracup of long-distance running in the Benelux. Please check out www.ultraned.org.

For each participant there is a souvenir after the race at returning your race number.
|
|
For all different distances there are 3 prices for men and women. For the marathon distance those who win the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prices get a cup and there are also money prices for the marathon participants for each category. There is €250 to win for the man or woman breaking the track record (men 2:23:22 Greg van Hest 2008, women 3:00:51 Marlien van Beek 1998).

At the gym of Basisschool de Driehoek, Papenstraat 96, about 500 meters from the start/finish. You can walk there by following the signs.

There is first-aid and a defibrillator at the race track and there are drinking posts with water, sport drinks and fruit.
|
|
Participation at the Beekse Marathon is at your own risk. Participants, companions and spectators are requested to follow the instructions of the organisation.
|
|
A maximum of 5 hours for the marathon.
|
|
The full marathon covers 5 laps over most metalled roads, mainly in the countryside and through the villages Hilvarenbeek and Esbeek. The start, each passage and the finish are on the Vrijthof - the central square - in the historic centre of Hilvarenbeek.
Lap 1 and 2 are the same, lap 3, 4 and 5 are different, so we offer 4 different laps during the race. These are the maps:

By car: A58 From Den Bosch/Eindhoven/Breda by A58 to Tilburg. Exit Tilburg/Hilvarenbeek. Then follow the N269 in the direction of Reusel. Go right just before the roundabout, follow Hilvarenbeek/Slibbroek. You enter Hilvarenbeek, follow the road into the center of the town. Follow the signs with the "M" from marathon and/or "Achil ‘87".
Public transport: The nearest railway station is at Tilburg (central). From this railway station you can take a taxi or bus. Bus lines 142 & 143 go to Hilvarenbeek. Leave the bus at the busstop at de Vrijthof. On Sundays there is a very limited schedule! Information number public transport: 0900-9292 or website http://journeyplanner.9292.nl (in English!).
